what are you trying to do? the djio doesn’t have any line inputs.
well i need to set up my whole system..like to the speakers and stuff..i just wanna know if imma need a new soundcard if DJio cant do it ..dj io has one for 0utput and one for input.. im not sure
don’t tables go into phono?
man i dont know..this is what im saying i have no idea what to do..and what do i connect to make everything work properly
First, this was posted in the wrong forum, I’m moving it for you ![]()
Second, we need to know what DVS you are using, or, what software you want to use your turntables with.
oh thanks man lol..well im going to use them with VIRTUAL Dj
The DJ IO will not allow you to use timecode cause it doesn’t have enough ins/outs. Numark makes a whole timecode solution including a soundcard and time coded vinyl, if that’s what you’re looking for.
There are a lot of solutions, I believe, so a little research should get you there.
Your Stanton tables have line outputs so you don’t need to worry as much, except I believe timecode control for vinyl requires a phono connection. That I could be wrong on.
Shouldn’t be an issue
the djio’s only input is a mic input.
fair enough then.
so what will i need ? audio 8 soundcard?
what do i need to set up everything
Okay i got the 2 turntables..a numark dxm09 mixer..my laptop..now what is next? wat else would i need and how would i set up everything?
Serato or Traktor, about 500 m of RCA cable, 4x 50inch Subwoofers, 2x Tops, 2km XLR cable, 60,000w amp, JBL eon monitor, 15 audio activated par cans, 2 industrial strength fog machines, 5 Hot gogo dancers and 1 slightly fat/ugly dancer to make the others look even hotter, a monkey, and assless chaps. Oh, and chunes and needles. Without those, everything else is just fluff
You need to either get this: http://www.pssl.com/Rane-Serato-Scratch-Live-DJ-Software
or this: http://www.pssl.com/Rane-Serato-Scratch-Live-Sl3-DJ-Software or this: http://www.pssl.com/NI-Traktor-Scratch-Pro or this: http://www.pssl.com/Native-Instruments-Traktor-Scratch-Duo or this: http://www.turntablelab.com/production_tools/0/0/17103.html. Get either one and you are set.

Yeah assless chaps are pretty standard these days.
If you’re using Virtual DJ then just use the Numark card that works with VDJ. I think that should do it.
You already have a thread for this. Please don’t post duplicates.
dont get the virtual vinyl soundcard. it dos not work with vdj!! (numark cue= numark virtual vinyl=virtual dj) there are lots of driver issues. look for audio4 or audio8, or if you have the money a rme hammerfall. if you want the best possible quality, like key-lock mastertempo and so on on high pitchranges no usb- card is enough cause theres too much data that needs to be transfered. VDJ runs with plenty of soundcards, the most important thing is : 4x phono in + 4xphono out. dont get torq, its worse than vdj. hope that helps, peace ![]()
ps, how to setup proberly:
turntable phono cable into soundcard phono-in, sc into computer, pc line out into sc line, sc into speakers. there´s plenty of information on the official forum if you have trouble setting up you gear
