DjMilk3y’s Setup.

The first setup i had was a digital jockey 2, about a year later i progressed to the oxygen 8 and some krk’s and built myself your typical Ikea booth.

About 6 months after that i picked up some TT’s and a mixer for 100$ and learnt how to mix vinyl.

Some time passed and as you can probably deduce from the photo i upgraded to a kontrol s4 and added the turntables in waiting for the scratch upgrade.

i hit my photo limit but as soon as the scratch upgrade hit my door, i played my first set on them and one of my turntables broke :disappointed: and the receipt to fix it was to expensive so i decided to get a new one.

I went a long time with just one turn table sitting there so yesterday i bought myself a brand new stanton TT for christmas its perfect its kind of weird mixing on two different turn tables but i love it.

The current setup stands as

Traktor kontrol s4
Citronic PD 2
Stanton T.92
Krk 5 G2
Hdj 500’s
Macbook 5.1

And i think it’ll stay like this for at least a year if all goes well that is.

And this is my dual boot 2500k hackintosh was alot of fun to build and i saved some money in the process.

Nice setups. How did you like the DJ2 for a starter controller. Switching from vinyl to controllerism and I just want it to control and sync, I don’t really care about the jog wheel functionality. Notice a difference w/ the sound quality?

It was good to start with but i think theres better things out there although im not sure what the price on it is at the moment, i had some issues with the sound quality but nothing to bad hope this helps somewhat/

Is your PC “box” a NZXT one ?

Ahh its a bitfenix case i think idk it was just the cheapest minimalistic thing i could get :stuck_out_tongue:

Um the circuit board inside fried itself idk how exactly i smelt burning plastic and i couldn’t figure out what then my tt started smoking and i freaked.
