here’s a quick and short video of my setup while i was djing at the cklu studio last night..
bear in mind the audio isn’t the greatest because it was pretty loud in the studio and my phone isn’t exactly the greatest at capturing audio

this is just a quick overview of what’s connected and how it operates
the main pad area is a modification of padi’s tsi file but i’ve modified it to just run 2 decks..i’ve also mapped the internal mixer on channel 9 to run vertical instead of horizontal..since i just run 4 effects i’ve mapped their quick functions to the main section of the mixer and can fine tune adjustments to them from channel 1 and 2 on the apc..i also made a vu meter for the main master run accross the apc just below the cue points with corresponding color codes to show if i’m hitting the limiter..
quite simply it’s a very basic yet powerful setup with just the apc40 and kontrol x1. i was gonna buy the s4 but with the new mapping that i have i don’t think i really need to invest the cash into another controller that i’ll have to mod to suit my needs..mind you..the soundcard would be nice to have..but considering my setup now is literally have the price of the s4 i can afford a higher quality sound card from the firewire solo i’m currently using
