Does Anyone know how to control a Kaoss Pad 3 with midi?
Lately I’ve been using traktor and guitar rig simultaneously along with turntables and an electric guitar plugged into an audio 10. From there I’ll run each of the outputs to my mixer and then use the fx send/return to send those sounds to my KP3 for sampling and fx. My problem is that both my hands are usually too busy to trigger a sample button on the KP3 and I would like to use a multi button usb midi foot controller to control those functions. Does anyone know of a software that would allow me to do that?
You need the foot pedals/buttons to send note on/off messages to the Kaoss pad
If the pedals cant be be configured to send the right messages (most can be), then Bomes Midi Translator can receive the MIDI in messages from the pedals and send the correct MIDI out messages to the Kaoss Pad.
Even if the pedals can be configured to send the correct messages you may still need Bomes to route the MIDI from the pedals to the Kaoss pad.
