Dual mapping the BCR2000? ableton & traktor
I can not figure out how to dual map my BCR2000 to buttons and knobs in ableton and to the FX section of Traktor at the same time. However I have been able to dual map my MPK49 by changing the output of all of the controls of control bank C on the keyboard to the MPK49’s 2nd midi in/out. seeing as how the BCR also has a 2nd midi in/out I am wondering if I can accomplish the same thing I did with the MPK.
Shouldn’t be a problem.
At what point do the problems start?
I cant seem to change the encoders or buttons over to the 2nd in/out on the bcr.

I have but the thread doesn’t talk about dual mapping. I can map to able ton or traktor just fine, however I can’t have both mappings running on the BCR
at the same time, unlike the MPK which I can have both ableton and traktor running and have the MPK working with both programs at the same time.
You got me lost here, you want 1 rotary encoded to both Ableton and Traktor, without switching banks or presets?
close but not quite. I want some of the controls controlling ableton and some of them controlling traktor.

the BCR will only get recognized by one of the programs (which ever one is open first) what I need to do is set, say, 8 of the encoders to the BCR’s 2nd midi in/out thus allowing me to use it with both traktor and ableton. the problem I am running into is that I have been unable to figure out how to do this with the BCR.
