Dubstep Bass Tips - Construction not Sound

Just wondering if anyone knows of any tips/tutorials about writing dubstep bass lines.

I’m from an indie band background and have previously produced some electro music. However, moving same kind of bass lines over to dubstep seems to cloud the track and make it sound too complicated/muddled.

Just wondering if anyone’s aware of anything about pointers on the construction of dubstep bass lines.
