Ean's S2 trick applied onto Mixtrack(DL mappings)

Ean’s S2 trick applied onto Mixtrack(Download mappings)

Wanna control traktor pro effects with jog wheels on your Numark Mixtack? Just like Ean Golden’s ‘Breaking the Silence’ video. Than read the post on my blog and download the mappings which allows you to use Mixtrack Jog Wheels to control Traktor Pro effects(FX section).

Please note that these are the closest I made after seeing the demo video!

Know more: Ean Golden’s NI S2 tricks applied onto Numark Mixtrack – Part 1

Also here is the list of effects used by Ean in the demo…

FX1. BEATM PFTR REVERB - For manipulating ‘Into my heart’ voice
FX2. MHDRV PFTR REVERB - For manipulating the beats.

Other two effects sections seen in the video are…
FILTER FEEDB RATE
BEATM LOFI FILTR

Please add comments if you manage to control these the way Ean did!

I was actually going to attempt to map this today on my own Mixtrack! I’m glad to have found this! Going to try it out as soon!

Thanks for making this! My mixtrack keeps getting more and more useful.

I don’t know why it happened but after I loaded the tsi. my crossfader and volumefader went invisible, and can’t get it back hehe.

~ Custom Mapping Tutorial ~

I have worked on two tutorials ‘Mapping MIDI controller like a pro - Basic’ and ‘Advanced’
Basic version of the tutorial covers

  • Resetting your controller’s mapping in case if you mis-mapped something.
  • Finding the MIDI signals your controller sends to Traktor.
  • Finding Modifier values which control multiple Traktor functions for single button.
  • Safely deleting your controller mappings in order to configure them for other Traktor functions.

More details available at:Mapping MIDI controller like a pro - Basics

Great Mapping

Any chance to get a visual layout of the mapping? I’m really enjoying it, but think it would be a lot more useful if I wasn’t hunting to figure out the modifiers

Thanks!!!

Thanks for the comment! Just to let you know that I am working on an update to this mapping which I’ll be finishing soon. Since its holiday season now, you can expect the updated mapping in first week of 2012 (or early if I get chance to work upon it).

Happy holidays!!! Catch ya soon!

cant wait

A quick question does this work with the mixtrack PRO controller?, if so imma use it

can you maybe go a little bitty more into it … like isit a mapping that controls 4 decks 2 track 2 sample decks has it got hot cues etc…

Thank guys, for waiting! I bet you’ll find it worthy! Check out the concluding part of the tutorials which is now live at Mapping MIDI Controller Like a Pro Advanced – 2.

Your comments, questions or modification are welcome!
