Hi! Any plan to make the editor work with MacOS 10.15? Says you need MacOS 12 or up?

Unfortunately the new framework won’t compile for anything older than Monterrey and we need it for proper long term development. The original the MFU was based on and was still running till 2.90 was discontinued on 2015 and the one 2.90 runs on in 2023. Continuing code on those frameworks was proving to be a real challenge since whether it would work or not on more modern OSs was a gamble.

That said, I do plan to at least patch the 2.90 to be able to handle these new firmware features once the beta is ready to go public.

We are planning on adding more to the MFU beyond firmware upgrades and settings and doing it on obsolete frameworks is a no go.

Worth mentioning, the MFU won’t be going M only on macOS anytime soon despite apple sunsetting Intel support later this year.
