End of Summer Mix

Hey guys,

My goal this summer was to produce my first mix. After a couple of long sessions trying to get it to sound good, I produced a product that I am happy with (there are 1-2 hiccups, but I decided that they were artistic hiccups :wink: ). And because DJTechtools is my favorite dj website/forum and just love the atmosphere around these parts, I wanted to share it with you - as well as to get feedback from all of you. I would appreciate any and all constructive criticisms! To give a bit of perspective, I have been Djing for a little over a year.

Just finished listening and give you a good pass mark, appropriate tiltle too. as I definatly got the feeling of a good summer day sitting around a pool in my boardies with a cold one in hand and the smell of the Bbq burning me sausages.
Going to download tonight as thats exactly what ill be doing tomorow as in my part of the world summer is just round the corner. :smiley:
only mistake I picked up on was the gater @ 24-25mins (good recovery blaming it on charlie:wink:) but i feel ya, i have done this many of times :eek:

I am glad you enjoyed it! Have fun tomorrow :wink:. As for the gater effects, that is actually part of the song - I always found them really odd when listening to the original track lol. (I guess you are right … “**** it Charlie!”)
