Recently got a vci-100 and downloaded the tks to go w/ it. since then though, i notice that when i move the x-fader all the way to the right i can still hear the track playing on deck A; however, when i move the x-fader all the way to the left i wont hear deck B (just like you shouldnt). Whats up with deck A??? why do i still hear it playing when the x-fader should cut it off when i slide it to the right? does this have anything to do w/ mapping?
could be ur sound card settings. If you have a soundcard that has more than 2 out’s you can set ch 1 & 2 to master & ch 3 & 4 to monitor or the other way around.
Look down by the crossfader on screen and find the little boxes on either side with ABCD in them. Make sure A and C are checked on the left side, and B/D are checked on the right. Does that solve your problem?
something else that may help, i tested this w/ deck c and d and it acts just like it should w/ the x-fader. if i move it to the right i dont hear deck C and if i move it to the left i dont hear D. so for some reason its just deck A that no matter what side the x-fader is on i still hear it.
also i noticed that the dot near the letter ‘A’ will stay “lit” no matter where the x-fader is at, where as all the other decks the dot will “grey out” when the x-fader is moved to the opposite side.
i had to get the manual out and see what i could find and hey thats what it was! i had to get the “decks” box up in details section and there it was. THANKKKKKKKKK YOUUUUUUU everyone for your help. i
Hey just an FYI. please read the forum guidelines before posting. The controller mapings forum is for finished/in progress mappings only. For questions and advice on mappings please post in general. thanks!
