Feling defeated - Traktor Setups Midi Fighter 3d, Twister and DDJ-SZ
I am feeling really defeated right now.
I have setup everything the way I have been told from Pioneer, here, Traktor. But I can’t seem to get the software and hardware to work properly.
First: I can’t get Traktor to work with my controller after I exit and restart.
- I have updated the DDJ-SZ to the latest 1.20 firmware
- I import the new TSI file from direct from Pioneer using the BIG import button. Set the settings and when I close the system seems to work fine.
-After I shut down and restart Traktor it doesn’t accept MIDI from my controller anymore. I check the preferences and everything is setup the same way, but nothing. The only workaround for this is for me to Re-Import the TSI file using the BIG import button and then re-set all the settings as I had originally done. Then it will work again ONLY for that instance, but if I close and restart I have to Re-import everything again.
Second: I have a MIDI Fighter 3D and a MIDI Fighter Twister that I am trying to use WITH the DDJ-SZ. I can’t get either of them to work at alll.
- After setting up the DDJ-SZ using the BIG import button, I then click the “Add” and drop down to “import” in the dropdown menu.
-Locate the Twister TSI file
-Set the Twister as IN/Out
Then when I close it does NOTHING. And when I try to use the DDJ-SZ as the main controller it also does nothing.
What am I missing here? Can anyone help me? - I have spent the past 2 days trying to set all this gear up and have come out super frustrated without any of it working how it’s supposed to. I’m near the point of giving up… 
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
