Pioneer DDJ-T1 with Midi Fighter 3D

Like the title says… I have read where the Traktor program that comes with this controller is a special edition for the Pioneer? Is this true or can it be used with other forms of traktor?? and 2 if it is a special edition of traktor is the capability still there to use my Midi Fighter 3D as my effects controller??? and would you recommend the pioneer? or which controller would you recommend? I have an S4 that was recently damaged due to beer… im not sure if I want the same controller again??? Thoughts… Thanks!

It works with any version of Traktor, you just get a glorified version of LE with the unit.

I’ve run mine on every version of traktor since 2.1.2

It’s just a normal controller, so yes the 3D will work.

If you’re not planning on moving it around ever I’d maybe recommend it, otherwise it’s very big and heavy, I’d say stick with the S4.
