first hours with my vci-100 and having troubles..

I bought a used Vci-100 and having trouble with how to get the jog wheels to work and trying to scrub audio. I went into both Traktor 3.4 and T Pro and did cdj-mode and did midi learn and if I turn the wheel up I get midi note B3 and down A#3. How does one set it so one can scrub audio like a record with both directions??..Set it in both directions? On my VCI-300, there is only one choice and easier.
Any help to get started..would be appreciated.

got it to work..had plastic covers on the platters that were stopping midi messages.
all good now.
