First post: Is it possible to adjust the tempo of a track per 1 BPM in Traktor?

Hey DJTechtools users,

I just watched the latest DJ Techtools video ‘Common Kontrol S8 Questions’. At 4:18 he shows us how to raise the BPM in steps of 1 BPM. Is it possible to map this option to my Traktor Kontrol X1 mk2? If it is possible, could someone please explain to me how? Click the Youtube link below for the video at 4:18.

P.S.: I am sorry for eventual language errors as English isn’t my first language:slight_smile:

It should be possible, I will try and map bpm jump by one to my F!'s encoder tonight and if that works then it will work for the X1 too. I will get back to you :slight_smile:

Start can start from here:

Add In > Deck Common > Tempo Adjust / type=Encoder / mode=Relative
Sensitivity = 0%
Acceleration = 0%

Then play around with different values to find best setting. Same principal can be applied to the Master Clock.

Thanks for thinking with me. I have tried this and it will work out for a certain BPM. But if i than try to use it on a song with a BPM that is a lot higher it won’t work as the pitch is based on a percentage.

Thanks! Did it workout?:slight_smile:

Hi, if you set a rotary encoder to controller the tempo fader and set the sensitivity to 22% it will jump 1bpm for ±3bpm at 128bpm. I am trying to find a way to map the bom value directly at the moment. The main problem is you can only adjust the tempo by percentage.

Sorry for the late reply
