First sneak peak at the Pioneer CDJ-2000 Nexus with Traktor advanced HID integration

Doesn’t look bad at all and I think it’s what we were all expecting. The high resolution OLED display is a nice touch. Too bad it will cost an absurd amount of money.

nice try

LOL

so they have been able to use the advanced integration stuff that NI use for the S4 and S2, that they havent let anyone else use?

While its obviously just been a big pile of money from Pioneer to NI that has allowed this, its a shame they have bowed down for them without showing some love to Vestax and letting them use it for the VCI-400 and 380 jog wheels. Vestax who have supporred them, and with the VCI-100 in particuluar been a huge part of building Traktor for many years!

However outside of that not a massive difference. So while your playing MP3’s, the main difference is you get the traktor display on your little screen instead of the Pioneer one? No buttons for multiple hot cues, sample banks, effects etc? Just seems like two of these, and a MIDI mixer with lots of extra buttons etc, a very expensive way of making a VCI-400.

k

It’s kinda sad, because that layout would actually be pretty sweet.

Cant see OP’s pic :disappointed: damn you work!

someone link it?

Lol!

haters

Looks sweet; now i just need to win the lottery and ill pick myself up two and the DJM900 Nexus!
Once can only dream.

sync!

why would it need scratch certification? it’s meant to be a hid controller…

NI is requiring scratch certified soundcards to be attached as a hardware dongle to enable advanced HID like serato advanced hid.

And here is a sneak preview of the new CDJ-250 pioneer are releasing!

Looks amazing!!

shakes fist damn you i fell for this one :joy:

Ugh… so it this happening or not? I would like to know so I don’t waste money on a new pair of CDJ 2ks…

check the post date.

shame its an april fools joke really… would be the ultimate Traktor controller imo (plus I’d love to see the protocol hacked so other controllers could get the waveform data)

Necro-fail bro… WTF
