Garrett2169’s beginner DJ/Producer setup
Hey y’all! I’m new to the forum so I decided to share my setup with y’all! It has a lot of cheap equipment and stuff and I hope to upgrade to CDJs or a better controller or some more production stuff. Anyways, here it is:
I use an HP 2000 laptop with Windows 8.1 installed on it and I use some old computer speakers that my dad gave me. They sound really nice. I’m currently trying to optimize my laptop for DJing and producing for better performance.
DJ equpipment:
- Numark Mixtrack Pro
- Virtual DJ 7.0.5
- Headphones: Beats by Dre Pro (not pictured)
Production:
- FL Studio 11
- Akai LPK25 keyboard

And that’s pretty much it! Like I said, hope to upgrade to better gear and perform better.
