Going to Berlin! What to do?

Hey DJTT!

Next week im going to berlin to do some studying with some of my fellow students. But its not all studying! Since i have little experience with Berlin’s nightlife i would like to hear from you guys which places i should be visiting if i wanna experience sweet electro music - and maybe some controllorists in action?

I’ve not been around here for long so I didn’t have the chance to get into a lot of different clubs yet. What I could probably recommend you, though, is WeekEnd on Alexanderplatz.

Friend of mine went to Berlin and went to Berghain and Tresor. He said Berghain was good (biggest club in the world after all, innit?) but Tresor was absolutely sick.

to bad u won´t have the chance to visit bar 25 :disappointed: it´s closed right now. but maybe it will open again when ur there…

really? i heard they’re done and won’t open again due to some building plans in that area :disappointed:

Try Golden Gate at Jannowitzbrucke.one of the best nights in Berlin
And have a look at the Germany forum on Resident Advisor that will give you listings for all the different clubs

Can definitely recommend Weekend in Alexanderplatz. Make sure you take a look at the rooftop bar.

Yeah but unfortunately the rooftop bar is closed during the cold sessions. Still it’s always great to dance in the windows on the 12th floor. ;-D

You here this weekend? As it happens bar25 is doing an afterhours sunday day/night, that will be great, def check it out. And yes they will be open next summer, but that is really the last or so the rumor goes.

It might be a good idea to keep this thread alive. (Mainly because I don’t want to end up in the same clubs over and over again :smiley: )

I considered checking out WaterGate. I’ve never been there before and the lineup for this Friday looks not too Minimal.
