I have to DJ a Pep Rally for our D1 Football team.
any ideas for some good songs that get people going.
i was thinking along the lines of

maybe some Aoki
Who is ready to jump- Chuckie
Any other ideas?

Bumaye is by Major Lazer, Diplo is pretty much a household name these days, and it’s just a good song to get up to.
The Pharoahe Monch sample is instantly recognizable. Then again I guess I’m a bit older than most college age kids by a year or two - or 5 for freshman, but I assume Simon Says is still a well known sample.
Henry Fong’s stand up is pretty easy to groove to and the marching theme fits in with a pep rally.
Or you could just play jock jams volume 7 I guess? I dunno. Be cliche and open up with some fatboy slim Whomp! Then be ironic and play a lesser known Fatboy Slim track. The hipsters will go apeshit, you will be a god amongst individuals who were Gods before it was cool, and became human as an ironic display of their godlike powers.

okay sorry guys but you all are doin it wrongggg! the best way to pump up a party is spinnin dat Levels horn remix with the Pump It Up sample in VDJ, you just can’t go wrong with that!
