HELP - Fried my VCI-100SE???

I think I fried my VCI-100SE. It won’t power on at all anymore. I was connecting it through a USB hub and like an idiot I powered the hub with the wrong power supply. My computer restarted as soon as I plugged it in, and now the VCI-100 has no lights or anything when I connect the USB to the computer. And of course the computer doesn’t see it at all. Nothing else was affected - the USB hub still works fine and all the other controllers that were hooked up at the time seem to work fine. Is my VCI salvageable?? It’s the only one that really matters to me :rage::rage::angry::cry:

Update - now I’m looking at it and the red light on the right jogwheel is blinking on and off. So I guess maybe there is hope? Is there a reset button??

I think I’ve done something similar, amp and turntables won’t turn on after trying to wire them up for the first time by guessing…

Did you ever find out what was wrong and did you manage to fix it?

It was completely fried, as was a midifighter that was plugged into the same hub :disappointed: I’m getting the VCI fixed but it required me to buy a used VCI to pull out discontinued parts. (Sure I could have just bought the VCI and kept it but I want my arcade buttons). So I’m in the hole for repairs for more than the cost of a used VCI :disappointed: Oh well… I’ll be happy to have my VCI back when it’s done.

If you had this happen with an amp and turntables it must be some other source as those don’t use the kind of “wall wart” power supplies that I messed up with.
