So Im put all the cables to together I believe but for some reason no sound is coming out through my speakers, I dunno if my mixer aint working or what!
rca cables from cdjs to mixer, mixer cables to speaker, im sure i have all the cables as guys at the shop got me what I needed. I just hear the small buzzer sound of the speakers. even when I play a track the mixer shows some levels but i can’t hear them and usually the bpm should be shown on the mixer but its not, i managed before to hear a track when i plugged headphones into the mixer but Im not sure how I did that or how to get it back after iv experimented with cables and such trying to get some sound out!
All in all an embarrassing, frustrating first post, if you could help a guy out with your words of wisdom?
You might not even know that they exist, but both your CDJs and your Mixer will have a manual online.
That manual will have pictures of exactly how to connect your gear, and how to test if it is working.
Thats the best place to start, and then come back here if you cant get it working.
Remember that the experts in the hardware you bought have made this manual to teach you how to use the gear. No one on this forum is going to know more about the gear than the people who wrote the manual.
