Help with recording microkorg xl sounds into Traktor
Hey guys so i’ve got my Microkorg outputs going into the inputs on the back of my S4. The only way I was getting any sound was if I cranked my volume on the Microkorg and even then it was barely registering on the levels. After I switched the inputs to phono on the back I was getting great levels.
I was always under the impression that only turntables ever needed phono inputs to amplify the signal to line level. Is there a reason I shouldn’t be using phono levels to record the Microkorg XL?
