Help with setup

Hey DJTT!

Just a quick question about a setup I’d like to do:

DDM400 (for midi with traktor & 4 channels)
Audio 2 DJ for cueing all the 4 channels
X1 for the cuepoints.

Will this work?

The Audio 2 will not be able to handle all four channels. Go with a different sound card and it sounds good to me :thumbsup:

Audio 8/10 will work for you. Or you can just buy two audio 2 dj.

Yes he can get away with a single Audio 2 if he’s using the DDM for Midi control only

You would only need a 8ch soundcard IF you want to use an external mixing setup and the EQ’s/effects built into the DDM.

However if you are using the DDM as soley a midi controller no need for the more expensive card, run traktor with internal mixing and control its EQ’s with the DDM midi.

But can’t you only select one audio device in Traktor?

I would indeed map the EQ’s, faders, … from the DDM to the EQ in traktor.

Yes it can be done!! As long as you are just using the DDM4000 in midi mode!!! That way you will be doing all the mixing internally!
