To stay up to date , so you’re playing all the new shit killing the clubs -

Check the top “urban” radio station playlists in places like nyc [ hot 97 ] , atlanta/miami , chicago , los angeles and houston. Each of these areas has a massive influence on mainstream rap radio. They’ll all play 1 or 2 of the same songs but you’ll notice alot of different songs respective to each area as well.

Than check MTV jams as well as they’re usually a good overall mix of the country. These will give you all you need for dj’ing “urban” music based clubs. I fucking hate that term , but whatever , you get the point.

Now if you’re looking for the “underground” stuff … check the college radio stations playlists …

And lastly you’ve got your “top 40” radio station playlists … same thing check the 6 points of the country and you’ll have a diverse set of all the current “whats hot” mainstream music.

Lets face it , at the end of the day , 95% of the people going to these clubs ONLY listen to the radio and want to hear what they’re usually listening to at work , at home and in the car. Give them what they want , make em dance and get paid

Thank you for the recommendations guys…will check them out…
