HIRE ME to do your DJ MIX + VIDEO + VISUALS (DJ “RESUME”)

Hello DJTT Community,

So I’m at the point in my DJ journey where I’m trying to get more gigs. I figured I’d do a few mixes, put them out, and see if I could make something happen. Realizing that some people with shorter attention spans, might not want to sit through and listen to a whole mix, I figured I’d try and make something a little more engaging. I wanted to add another dimension to the mix by adding some video. I believe that people might be a little more enticed to listening to a mix, while watching a video at the same time. This creates a better connection between the music they’re hearing, and what it looks like while doing it. I also cut in a bunch of visuals on it to even further entice the viewer (not everyone wants to see a DJ twisting knobs and pushing buttons, but people definitely enjoy watching visuals :slight_smile: I also did another one awhile ago with a go-pro on my head to get a more first person view of what it looks like.

Long story short, take a look at the video I made. If anyone is interested in hiring me to do something like this for you shoot me a message and we can collab on ideas, location, multiple camera’s, visuals, etc. I’m flexible about prices and all that, I just want to start something cool for DJ’s, help DJ’s get gigs, create awesome looking/sounding projects, and have fun while doing it. FYI: I’m located in Los Angeles but have no problem traveling

feel you on the idea. i think its a great idea to add a visual element to dj mixes. when i finish my set up, i will keep you in mind.

So if I was to have the video and audio. What would you charge to do the cool graphic overlays? for like a 1 hour mix?

thinkin’ about doing a bounce/electro mix. switch it up and have some hype tunes and hype visuals to go along with it. I have a buddy who does visuals and project mapping so I might have him come over and throw up some live visuals and just screen capture what he’s doing and lay it over the video. anyone else interested in doing something like this??
