How to set up Audio 8 soundcard?
Hi.. fairly simple question for most of you i imagine but I’ve got a Vestax VCI-100, Audio 8 soundcard and Traktor Pro on my laptop, I was just wondering what do i need to plug into where to play out at a club?

right i’ve got it setup so that channel a (out 1/2) are going to my pc speakers and they’re working fine.. got my vci-100 connected up and thats working fine.. got my headphones plugged into the audio 8 but i can’t get any output to them at all.. any ideas?
Make sure traktor is set to internal mixing mode, make sure the monitor channel is set to whatever channel the headphone jack on the audio 8 is, make sure the headphone volume is turned up in the little box at the the top of traktor, and move the monitor/master knob to say the middle, and turn up the headphone gain on the audio 8 (if there is one, I don’t have one)…
ehhh that should be it?
the headphones are set out 7/8, so set the Monitor Out to 7/8
This is an interesting question I hadn’t though of, but in regards to the audio 8 if your gonna be playing out how would you set up a full set of speakers, lets say 2 Pa speakers and a sub, how would those all be hooked up to the audio 8
Audio8 > Line in on amplifier > Speakers
