setup on audio 8 for headphones and mic?
hi guys,having trouble setting up headphones on audio8(no sound coming out)and mic aswell,No sound but signal through the sound card.All help appreciated.
What are your audio routing settings in Traktor?
Sorry for the late reply.Not sure if my setup is right but i got my headphones working with the routings below.But mic is still not working if ye could help me with that it would be great.My routing settings are as follows.
Output Monitor
L 7 :Out 7 CH D Right
R 6 :Out 6 CH C Left
Output Master
L 2 :Out 2 CH A Left
R 1 :Out 1 CH A Right
Sorry to say it man, but your routing settings are pretty wrong. The easiest way to fix this is just to run the setup wizard, select ‘I own a NI audio interface’ and select the Audio 8, it will automatically reset your output settings.
Monitor out should be set to 7 & 8, and on the A8 you need to make sure the source button by the headphone socket is in the ‘out 7 & 8’ position (there’s an indicator light on the top).
