How to use the RMX 1000 with a Allen and Heath Xone92

I just got a pioneer RMX 1000 to go with my Allen & Heath Xone 92 but I can’t get all the effects to work. The only one that works is ths noise effect. Is there a button I need to push ? Or a certain way I need to hook it up? I know it works fine because I hooked it to my pioneer DJM 750 and all the effects work. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know?

How are you connecting the two together?

With a 1/2 inch to a 1/4 inch

Make sure the RMX-1000 is connected to the Xone:92s aux send/return, and that the FX send button is engaged on the channel you want effects on.Also set the RMX to SEND/RETURN mode and turn the MIX knob up otherwise you will only hear Noise.

I tried all that on both channels and the only effect that works is the noise effect still. The isolate doesn’t work none of them do but the noise. I even bought new chords to see if that was the problem but it didn’t fix it.

A few things to check. The fact that you can hear the noise effect means that at least the Return part of the signal is going back to the mixer.

Mixer

  • AUX send knob above the EQs for the channel you want to apply the effect to isn’t all the way to the left. Try turning both up
  • If you have an audio interface or the right cables, try plugging the Aux sends from the mixer to that or another channel to verify audio is coming out

RMX

  • Input Level knob on the unit isn’t turned down, try 12 o clock.
  • FX Release lever isn’t engaged

I just double checked and tried all that you suggested but still no luck.
