HowTo combine your traktor mapping with ableton vst-effect mapping on one controller

Hello,

I want to use a X1 controller to control my traktor software but want to use one effect knob and button to control a vst effect with ableton.

Is there a simple way to this without building the whole traktor mapping?

I watched Richie Hawtin doing this but can’t find article’s or a work around for this.

please help

Press shift+browse and you will be in MIDI mode, this layer is entirely mappable (the default layer only speaks with traktor in HID).

When setting up your X1 in Live remember to enable Remote under midi in and out (lights).
