So I’ve been bedroom DJing for quite a while now, and I’m getting to the point where I want to go look for some gigs. the only problem is I don’t really have a name for my self. I love to spin electro, House, Fidget, and sometimes dubstep. so far the only decent sounding name I’ve come up with is Kids with Guns but a few people already told me that was lame. and a friend suggested Acid & Bass, kinda like an acid and base reaction in chem, but I’m not really sure if that name fits the music I’ll be playing.
I know this is kind of a stupid question but I’d appreciate your help.
if you hav a nickname ur mates call u try work round that maybe use abreviations for ur name or use ur first name and incorperate the music u like into the second name hope u get sorted …
Make sure that www.yourdjname.com is not taken. This is key to branding yourself. You can link that to your facebook or twitter. Choose something simple that people will remember when they google you. No crazy spelling. Make sure nobody popular or a business uses that name like DJ Sprite or DJ Ferrari.
