In search for a MIDI Controller for Sampling, Producing and using effects

Hey All!
So I recently found out that my Behringer NOX404 (connected to Traktor 2) mixer can not record my mix externally…
E.g. Effects are not taken within the mix.
Thats why I’m in search of a MIDI controller, that I could map in traktor as well as using it for:

  • Sampling (need drumpads & knobs for browsing)
  • Effects (need knobs and a few buttons)
  • Producing (just for the finger drumming part; need drumpads)
    I do not want to spend more than 140$ / 100€ / 84£

At the local music store I saw 3 MIDI controllers I liked:

  • 2d hands NI F1 → €100
  • Behringer CMD DC-1 → €88
  • Korg PadKontrol → €90

Which one do you advise me and or do you have other suggestions?

Ask yourself if pressure sensitive pads are needed. If so, take a look the Akai MPD26. On your current list the only pressure sensitive pads are found on the Korg. If you don’t need this feature, take a look at the Xone K2.
