Does anyone know how to add “FX hold” (4 decks - Traktor Pro/S4) to the instant gratification mapping for the MF3D??? This was a feature I used quite often on both the MF classic & the MF Spectra but it wasn’t included for the MF3D. Thanks!!!
I can’t seem to find that mapping for the Midifighter 3d.
Have you just imported the IG mapping for the Spectra and then set your MIDI in-port and out-port to MF3D?
Thanks for the reply Stewe. Actually yes total correction here, my bad…. I am using the Spectra instant grat mapping on the 3D and it won’t hold the FX as in the original Spectra or MF Classic. Any ideas on a fix?
Yeah on my MF Classic, the instant grat mapping “FX hold” would work on each deck button (top row) so I could take my hand off the controller and FX would still be implemented as long as I pressed that corresponding deck button.
When I tried this using the spectra mapping on the 3D the FX became isolated to the top left button as you stated but I wasn’t able to get it to “Hold” the 4 bank FX (on deck C or D either) We’re you able to hold effect state on each of the 4 decks?
Also - Is there anyway to get the Spectra instant grat mapping the way it was originally laid out for the classic
with top row deck choose/FX hold for each deck? It was a quick way to shift between decks and get a quick hold on any effect state pressed.
Hey Stewe
So I imported the mapping. All I’m getting is hold on Bank 1 on the MF3D. What am I doing wrong?
1- I imported spectra instant grat MFS to the 3D with the MF utility.
2- I imported your revamped spectra instant grat TRS to Traktor using large import button (switched all 4 in and out ports in Traktor the MF)
3- I imported S4 Default controller using small import
Importing it twice is only required in order for Traktor to successfully update the effect settings.
I’ve took another look in to deck B mappings to find that Reverb button was mapped to unload the track from deck B - that was my bad.
Was that the only issue you are having with deck B? If there were any other bugs please describe them for me so I could give you support.
