is it time to get CDJs ?
My current setup is technics 1210 mixer with traktor scartch a6 with novation dicers
but every club i go to i see cdjs not technics or just technices sitting in the back. if I want start djing in clubs i need to learn how to use them and feel relaxed with them but I just dont like them lol
but if i want to take djing seriously shall I get a pair
To answer your question; yes, go with cdj’s. Not necessarily for the beatmatching, I’m guessing you’ve sorted that out, but for getting to know the added features compared to your technics.
I will still keep my technics. what more does it have than my turntable hooked up with traktor with dicers dosnt
I play out, only ever play vinyl, I dont like cdj’s, nor do I want to digitize my vinyl. The places I play and have played all have had technics.
You can use timecode on CDJs when you’re in the club. It’s not difficult to figure out. You could literally have a play on some at a store and walk away confident enough to use them with Traktor at a gig.

If you’re competent on turntables, it’ll really only take an hour of your first gig with CDJs for you to get used to them.
As you’re using Traktor, most of the features aren’t actually applicable for you, unless you’re hooking up via USB and using HID mode.
With timecode CDs, it’s a very close experience to using a regular turntable.
It’s close, but not nearly as fun. 
If you are an experienced DJ who knows his stuff and has used turntables and Traktor, you can really learn DJing on CDJs without owning them. It’s super easy. Just try them in HID/MIDI mode or with timecode CDs first and if you like it try it with some songs from an USB stick (analyze them in recordbox first)
They are really user friendly and beatmatching with them is really easy!
im still learning Im not sure about the usb sticks tho i love traktor and my cue points etc
You can have cue points on CDJs too?
