Is the Audio 4 the best value for money?

I am seriously considering buying an Audio 4 to start a Midi Traktor Pro setup.
I have a PC laptop so this is not a Mac question
I see that an Audio 4 is roughly $200 and that what appear to me to be the competition (as far as midi input capability) is at least $100 more (Audiofire 4, Saffire, Firebox, Motu etc).
This is an interesting question given that in 2008 (i.e. Pre-Audio 4), the $200 price point was picked as a dividing line for investigating two groups of different sound cards.
I know that it is generally recommended to go Firewire rather than USB
Do you guys think Audio 4 is best value for money or something else?
