Just wondering. I was going to fit arcade buttons to my vci 100 se but I just realised, is there a template to drill the button holes in the right place because I was also going to buy the new vci 100 se mapping ovelay when it comes out, so how would I know if my button holes line up with the new mapping overlays button holes ?
I’ve got one, but no guarantees I can find it. I know you can take the cad file and open it in illustrator. Maybe try one of the aviary suite tools to see if you can open it and save it as a pdf or something.
I’m still deciding on which arcade buttons to go for at the moment (i have an idea of which ones), I’m also waiting on the new overlay being released. I’m not sure whether to go ahead just now and then fit the overlay when they come out or wait for the overlay and then go ahead.
I’m still trying to figure out the best way to go about this. I tried to download the template for cutting the holes but it doesn’t seem to download it just takes you to a page of gobbledegook. Plus, according to the instructions, the overlay goes over the buttons, so I’m wondering, is it better to go for the regular overlay for normal buttons and cut the arcade button holes to the right size and that way the overlay will be under the overlap of the buttons. If that makes sense.
I got my yellow knobs and sliders (see avatar) and have just ordered my arcade buttons, hopefully i’ll receive these for the weekend, all I need now is either a template that works or pray that DJTT finish the new overlay soon.
