Launchpad Mega Mapping with visual feedback

Cool.

Thats what the user guide is for

Might I request a gain fader in a future update? It’s one of those functions I don’t use enough to spend two knobs on and yet I’m lacking it this 1% of the time :stuck_out_tongue:

Yep. Will consider. Maybe as a shifted function on the filter controls in the mixer page, so you can gain down and up and centre press to return to 12 o’clock??

Ah that’s a lot more wonderful than just plain Irish  haha I have to thank you for the smiley as well, for the next update I’d like to request him being animatable so that he laughs at or with me

Oh and what are your plans for the empty page? A simplified 4 deck page with no shift button maybe?

Oh and also, good job with the PDF documents, looks real pro

Glad you found the PDF useful.

We’ll see about the animated face

Not sure about the spare page. Waiting for inspiration on that one. Maybe a single deck page that is more spread out with a switch to change between each of the four decks.

I also want to make an S4 companion version.

any news on the pc verison?

Yeah Still working on it. Haven’t had any spare time the last week or so. Couple of issues to do with PC compatibility to iron out.

Your mapping makes it so much fun to use the Launchpad with Traktor! Brilliant, complete, versatile… Thank You for your hard work!

Thanks so much. I have been surprised how much I like using it.

I have added a few little tweeks for doing beat grids and it makes it so easy and quick to set move and change hot cue types.

Can you tell me if the FX Preset hotkeys are working in the main page? They seem to have been lost in my new S4 software, so I am working on replacing.

still not of version PC
?

When it will be realized “Midi Tools - LiveFX” )))) - ?

The FX hot keys are working and your mappings are fun to use and get ideas from, though I use Traktor Scratch and not an S4, so I don’t have any experience with that.

Actually it’s the FX page that I find most useful when combining with the DVS system as I didn’t have a great way of controlling that section before. The presets are very handy when I’m focusing on hotcues or when I’m not using DVS.

All in all, the whole mapping has been the easiest to learn, I am rather new to digital DJing.

I had accidentally stumbled on the various cue point alternatives before but didn’t explore, so I went back to it after your post and am excited that they are color-coded in the hotcue section! Again, I am impressed with the level of logic and effort you put into this mapping.

Cheers!

please make pc version RISHI , this mapping sounds AMAZING!

Dallon5 - thanks so much for your comments. Really appreciate that.

Solgoodman - I have some issues with the PC version and need the owner of Bome Software to advise me on them. He is taking a long time. Sorry.

I also am very stoked for the PC version!

Playing around with this and I can’t get enough of it - love the presets you put in and the way they are used!

One thing I would love would be to be able to load the FX4 presets on FX deck 3 by holding down the FX4 load button and pressing the FX3 preset buttons to load on FX3. (and the other way around)

Hey janzak, glad you are liking the presets. Not a bad suggestion. You might be able to do this yourself by copying the relevant lines in the .tsi and changing the shift key and FX slot. I am pretty sure I put something in the comment field to flag which fields they were in case peeps wanted to change the FX settings.

That’s true! I’ll give it a shot asap and put the tsi up here if I get it to work

Could anyone upload the .tsi and mtplayer somewhere? Looks like the link is down..

Any word from Florian yet, rishi?
