How to make it work
To be able to use this mapping with Traktor 2, 2 programs are needed
MidiKatapult - A program for the Launchpad that allows you to customise its layouts, button functions and it also allows you to create multiple layout pages,
Download & More info on the website : http://www.midikatapult.com/
Note: For LED Feedback to function properly make sure you are using 2 different ports for each input and output. Also, If LED feedback is not active when Traktor is launched, simply relaunch MidiKatapult
Anyway this can work on a mac? its brilliant and an all encompassing solution for this poor college student. I do not want to partition my hard drive. Any versions of loopbe for mac?
As far as i know Mac has a built in midi driver so you dont need any of these windows ones. I searched it for you nd came up with this, just make sure you configure it properly.
Holy god this looks awesome! How long did it take you to write this thing? All I can imagine is tons of excel spreadsheets just for keeping track of the modifiers alone.
I don’t have one of these controllers, but I’m looking to do something quite similar (and daunting) as this on my APC40.
It did take me quite awhile, but for the modifiers i didnt use as many as the program midikatapult allows me to make different pages on the launchpad, making mapping alot easier, lukily
If it wasn’t for midikatapult, it would have probably taken me many months to finish haha, and that is if it would even be possible
hey man. i downloaded your mapping today and i got it all working and stuff but there seems to be some errors.
page 1 works fine.
page 2-5…not so good
problem: lets say that you have your panning control in the middle.
but it shows the panning that it’s down at -61% when the button is set to the middle so it stays on 0%.
so the problem is that you can tell the control to stay at any % but no matter what it always goes back to -61%
the same goes for all the other things in those pages.
so if you could reply to this, that would be really cool. thanks
