mapping imo is unusable in a performance enviroment. WAYYY too much stuff going on and having to change modes etc. Its awesome that you made such a mapping but there is just way to much risk in being in the wrong mode, hitting the wrong key and train wrecking your set.
Might be suitable for chilling at home and tweaking things, but i prefer Jwills midi fighter and EFX mappings as they are pretty easy to understand
agreed on this, love my launchpad but i can totally see this happening with me. I’ll definately try it out though, obviously you put a lot of thought into it!
This is the simplest version I have made. All on the one page.
Previously there were multiple pages including extra pages for joint use with ableton.
Now all your main controls are always accessible. Cue, play, pitch, move, browse, load, zoom, sync. No mode switches for any of this
The only modes I use live are hot cue and trigger fx.
Mouse free beat grids are the best but I do them
offline and the mini mixer I just did because it was in an earlier version and some peeps asked for it. It’s just for a bit of fun but I don’t see that as a serious mixing tool.
You know how Lopazz mixes in the flower garden in the Twitch video?? That’s what it’s for.
Tbh… I use this in conjunction with a KX1 for Fx control on FX1 an 2 and I use an external mixer. It’s a great portable set up an can easily work in any club environment. I take it everywhere.
Im sitting on the couch right now, launchpad would be pretty much the only controller that actually light enough to sit on my lap and also has enough controls to mix on, so im gonna try this right now
