I would never want anyone tracking my IP and coming to my home, as it would be a horrid situation for all involved. It is protected by a security system and a 100lb German Shepard. Bypassing the security and incapacitating my dog would transform that person into a possible threat against my life. Connecticut (where I live) laws allow residents to respond with lethal force when their life, or the life of anyone they are responsible for is threatened. When not at home, the same laws apply when ones life is threatened. Connecticut also lets it’s residents who do not have criminal records (which I do not) obtain concealed weapons permits to enhance their 2nd amendment rights, which enable said residents to carry pistols everywhere except federal buildings and at any time.
All that being said, I may be dumb, but physically confronting someone who you do not know because of what amounts to verbal diarrhea over the internet, is stupidity to the umpteenth level. I’m sure you knew that being such a smart person though.
Hmmm…well, depends on your definition of performance. You obviously mean production rather than live remixing/general djing, so yeah, by that definition dj’s definitely are not live performers. But couldn’t live remixes be considered live performance because, other than sound generation (which I know is your point), it’s still being performed live, on the fly.
Obviously there is a distinct difference between live music production and playing pre made tracks, but I don’t think that necessarily disqualifies turntablism/controllerism as performance. May I just add, early Underworld = <3. That is TRUE live performance
Edit: Everybody knows the best way to advertise your artistic abilities is to shove it down peoples throats and then insult them telling them not to “quite” their day job. I mean, how else would you get your name out there?

It’s not weird. I just wanted a person who made a vague threat to me aware of vague circumstances that would be presented to an intruder at my house. I’d think most people would feel the same if presented with that. Sorry if I made it uncomfortable, but I don’t take kindly to that stuff.
