Making custom Midi Controllers

Making custom Midi Controllers

I want to start making some custom Midi controllers, but the only things I can find online are made using Arduinos.
Now I don’t have an Arduino, and I don’t really want to buy one, so can anyone tell me how I can make basic Midi controllers without an Arduino? Much obliged

Yeah-- just hack up an existing MIDI controller…“thrift” it if at all possible
