2 questions

  1. Why did u switch the tone arms?
  2. How did u set up the dicers? Are dey sitting on the play/pause button.
    I ve got the ST 150s too.

  1. I switched the tonearms because the straight arms were wearing the crap out of my timecodes idk if its cuz i set them up wrong or whatever.

  2. When i was changing the tonearms out, i decided to take out the button while it was open. When you buy dicers they give you this putty to stick on there since it wouldn’t fit in the hole.

Well i ve heard that too with straight arms, but i thought it meant Scratching like Q-Bert on a regular to get that “wear”. I bought the ST-150 with curved arms and i was thinking maybe i should have got the STR8-150s.

With the other play button removed, did the dicers stay in that hole left behind. I think they come with some round appendage to slot into the round counterweight hole on the Technics TT. I would be scared to use a Putty for the simple fear that during keybashing sessions the dicers might fly off

Lol, yeah i live life on the edge with no warranty!

I was scratching a ton to learn so that murdered my first set of vinyl but i calmed down some. The straight arms were pretty sweet though they are steady and will not skip for any thing that’s not saying the curved arms do. I always have the straight arms though if i want to go through that pain of switching them. The putty is very sturdy. You just have to unscrew that round thing at the bottom and shazam. I was doin a little midi mashing craziness yesterday and they didn’t budge one bit.

Just started realizing that, haha.That crappy table is starting to slightly warp in the middle it drive me crazy.
