MIDI out to application or window

this might exist already and please tell me if it does

what if you had a GUI that displayed MIDI out?
a little apple program that ran over top of traktor, and could flash to say the beat, show effects deck assignments for 4FX on traktor, or even a VU meter.
seems like someone on this forum would have the programming knowledge to whip up a program… even just a row of black circles that respond to midi out, like an led array but on your screen

ideas?

Doable… but I doubt of the success of such application as Traktor’s GUI already do 99% of it.

the main one i was wondering about is the FX assignments. S4 wont show them properlly and opening the enitre mixer section is a pain
