Is it possible to map output levels?

such as on the ddm4000 using it as a midi controller. Would it be possible to map the output levels onto the output meters that are present on the mixer? or similiar midi controllers

The meters are not midi assignable in any way on that mixer. I’m not even sure traktor has an assignable level out at all, apart from a clipping indicator.

damn thanks for the input

one way to do would be to use the screen cloning software that was in my signature (do a search) to clone a part of the Traktor desktop onto another screen (say a smaller 7" usb vga display).

another, slightly more hacky way to do it would be to use Autohotkey (or another macro scripting language that uses pixel detection). you could setup AHK to ‘watch’ a specific region of Traktor for activity… when certain pixels light up (ie - the VU meters move up and down), you could get AHK to output midi (there’s a midi dll extension for AHK). You would then use this outputted midi to trigger LED’s in whatever device you’re using.

I might actually give the latter option a go myself… watch this space

^ i was thinking about this actually haha a seperate screen to watch certain parts of traktor like the fx section with certain hotcues or the like to jump to certain sections of traktors GUI like say your beatmatching a track i could push a macro that would swap section it was on so i could look at the waveform and beatmatch more intuitively. I am very excited about what you were saying in the latter part of your response is very techy and exciting  thankyou for that ill definetly look into it. argh i think lots of that is spelt wrong sorry had a big day and i am a little tired.

The 7" vga screens where would be the best place to get these from?.

more info here: custom traktor controller with internal 7" vga screen mod

You mean thanks for the output right ?
