MIDI out to Twister LED encoder ring?

So it’s my understanding that you cannot echo back values to the twister LED ring around each knob. So it’s not possible to record in Ableton an automation with a knob twist and then see that visually represented on playback. Is this 100% how it’s gonna be forever on the twister or is it possible a firmware update in future could allow echo values on knob amount? Why was it not included originally? Love this piece of gear but it’s my only complaint thus far. My apc40 displays knob amount automation fine back on the controller so was curious why the twister does not

Did you enable REMOTE OUT for it? It should work, Twister listens to MIDI feedback and it’s the reason the script we made for it works like your APC.

On the video, left one is set to encoder (when set as encoder feedback is laggy with the current firmware when you twist it but works fine when listening back to software), right is CC

hmm ok. i will play around with it some more. thank you! I was incorrect then in assuming it didn’t have 2 way midi communication for the rings
