Midifighter is in motion!

From a tweet on Midifighter, com: It’s on the way! Check the super cool black PCB.

great news. I want to personally thank you and all the people at DJTT for the hard work. I have looking forward to getting this since my visit to the new DJTT compound in November.

Peace

 hells yes.

Nice one FL!

WOOOO!
Thanks for the update Fats.

I can’t wait to get my hands on that PCB.

yes yes yes…soon come!

just got my shipping confirmation today! squeeeeeee!

midifighters are pure joy

=D

I know this may be a littel pre-emptive, but does anyone have an idea how we’re supposed used the expansions? I can’t imagine it would be as easy as solder two wires and voila. I’m thinking of adding a knob/slider or so.

It’s as easy as soldering the three points of the slider (+5, Ground and Input) and enabling the analog input pins through the menu system. Switches require an additional pull-up resistor, but they’re easy too.

Of course then you’ll need to design your own case and a new top plate, etc, but we’ve got articles coming up all about those kind of shenanigans.

Just make me jealous already… Still waiting on my PCB bro. :disappointed:

DJTT, you’re my hero.

/swoon

whooooo hooooooooo
shipping confirmation!

Nice one, doc.

The only thing that is pulling me off the midi fighter kit is I don’t know how to connect an XY controller… a bunch of arcade buttons is not enough for me.

I’m betting it will all be revealed in due time.

got my shipping confirmation today.

word up

Gentlemen! It has arrived.
MUAH HAH HAH!

Let the games begin!

FYI: Check and make sure that you have 8 screws when you get the Kit. Mine only came with 4. Luckily, I had some Hard drive screws lying around. They just happen to be the same size and thread. I used them for the top layer, as they aren’t long enough for the bottom. Just sayin’.
