Midifighter Pro, Standalone?
I’m thinking of getting a Midi Fighter Pro as a standalone midi controller for use in Traktor. Is this feasible? If so, which model should I get?
Thanks

you Could do it by getting the one with 4 knobs, that way you can control the Filters of your decks… its really meant to be an additional controller though, but you could add to the mapping and customize it for your needs
Midifighter cue master - faders for volume and the knobs for filters. This combined with the deckadized mapping would allow you to mix 2 channels fairly well I guess.
Personally I’d much rather use something that gave me full EQ but I do know people who never touch anything other than the filters (or low eq).
You will need to also buy a soundcard though.
the best one for standalone is probably either the beat destroyer or the cue master
Go for a cue master and use ab mapping
so you can toggle between deck A and B
+1
another dj here got one of those with that mapping. its very fun and works very well. i got 2 try it.
You’ll have to remap it to get some mixer controls though.
Unless your mixing externally with a mixer and soundcard
Which is isn’t, he wants a stand alone unit as he stated before.
