Mini Midi keyboard Advice

Hey! I’m looking for a midi-controller to extend my Reloop Digital Jockey 2 Set-up and start producing.

Choices: http://www.musicstore.de/nl_NL/NLG/Akai-MPK-Mini-Controller-Keyboard/art-SYN0003813-000 → Looks good, 88 euro.

Mini MIDI keyboard kopen bij MUSIC STORE | Nederland → Is Fame any good? It looks like you get the same for half the price… 44euro.

Other: MIDI keyboard 49 toetsen kopen bij MUSIC STORE | Nederland, 99 Euro

http://www.musicstore.de/nl_NL/NLG/Fame-Tweak-25-USB-MIDI-Keyboard-Controller/art-SYN0003693-000 : Fame keyboard with some more features & Knobs.

Should I go for quality and buy the Akai or will I just have the same thing from another brand?I will use it for sample decks and hotcues 5 - 8 +Producing in Ableton / Fl Studio ( I don’t know how to map in DAW’s though.)

Thanks in advance, Jens

I have the Akai MPK Mini. And I really like it. It’s not as solid as one of the bigger more expensive ones, but it’s really helpful on the production side of things for me. Only thing I’d want to add is potential faders.

Thanks for the information, i see the fame tweak mini has 4 faders… Mmhm

the fame tweak also seems to good to be true at that price. the pads on the mpk mini are good - same as on the lpd8 i have. even if the pads on the tweak were worse maybe u wouldn’t care if just using them for triggering cues etc anyway. the lpd8 pads do need bashing quite hard, but can be fixed easily, not sure about the tweak ones ofc. i’d be tempted to try one at that price tho…
