Monitor/ speaker setup help

I just bought a pair of m audio bx5a’s. I am confused as to how to set them up with my audio 2 dj and making sure that I only use output b while output a for for my headphones. I am also not sure if cable length affects sound quality, and also if xlr or trs is better for sound aswell. For those who dont know a bx5a has an xlr and trs input.

Connect the single end to the A output of the audio 2 and each of the double end to each speaker. Done.
