Monte Carlo Theme Party
Hello, I am in a little bit of a dilema… I will be DJing a banquet for my college and their theme this year is Monte Carlo! I know its really wide to what music can be played… For the first couple hours they require me to keep in the Theme and then i can do what ever i want (i have done more events so they know we will have fun with the music)
My questions in your opinions what songs fall under this Monte Carlo Theme?
Electroswing?
do you have some examples to give?

I usually start Monte Carlo nights with Rat-Pack era music. Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, etc.. I also use revival swing like Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Steve Lucky and the Rhumba Bums, and Royal Crown Revue.
Caravan Palace has some excellent electro swing as well.
