my tractor s4

my tractor s4 is only blinking on the USB light about the master button and that is the only thing that works when i plug in my trakor s4 to my macbook pro.
pls can some body tell exactly what to do to make my tractor s4 work. I have already traktor software install weeks ago before i bought the controller.

have you selected the s4 mapping in preferences?

updates done in service centre?

Are you using the power adapter/ wall wart?

yeah I’m using the adopter plug.

and i have click the s4 in the reference, then i click wizard setup,
(are you using an external controller?) appears,: i choose yes,
(choose you manufacture): i choose Native Instrument.
(choose your model): i choose Kontrol S4. i click next:
(select your control medium) i choose: i use a control s4 with timecode. i click
next (select your setup): i selected my choice of deck. and click finish.
but still the same USB light keep blinking and thats all i see.
PLEASE GUYS READ MY DISCRIPTION CAREFULLY AND SEE WHERE IM MAKING MISTAKE, So u can tell me exactly what to do.

So you have Traktor Scratch Pro?
Have you tried a different USB cable? Different USB port on your Mac?

this may sound dumb but try re-installing the drivers. when i upgraded to 2.1.1 it removed drivers for my .nhl stuff.

Use the service center to get the latest drivers and updates.

Hi,

I had this issue yesterday- s4 was drawing too much power from USB and my power supply had also come loose. Disconnected all cables, restarted the mac, used a different USB port and Boom back in the game!

This happen to me too.
I tend to leave traktor open for days and close my MBP. When the problem arises, a restart is the only thing that fixes it for me.
