nanopad2 transforms to a midifighter it is possible?
hi guys i have an idea.. i want to transform my nanopad2, to a midifighter wannabe controller… just the exterior, and just for fun.. what do u think? its possible? any bad points on this ?
i want to belive that is easy.. im gonna open my nanopad today and see whats inside…
new case.. (plus the xy controller) arcade buttons.. (plus the scene and that stuff buttons..) somenthing more colorfull and cool…
I made a midi fighter style controller using an old buzz controller. I recommend using a program called ControllerMate to convert your HID data to keystrokes. This program allows you to send out extra notes when a combination of buttons are held, much like the midi fighter does.
thanks to all!!.. yes i know i can buy a midifighter for the price that will cost to make it look like one.. but the bad news is that i cant even make it work right with Virtualdj 7 there is no mappings for the nanopad2 =/ that sucks… i guess that i should bought traktor pro instead =(
i have a LE version of vdj that came with a controller - it’s pretty sucky compared to traktor imho, but i know some people like it. having said that it’s not bad and i had some fun using it.
edit: i probably have had more fun using the free mixxx tho than vdj and the custom mapping possibilities are almost endless with mixxx.
edit2: just tried the new beta of mixxx 1.10 - looks pretty slick - quite traktorish
These are for midi fighter classic mappings ported onto nanoPAD2. And guess what Instant Gratification and Decadized mappings are in process. Do you wanna beta test the upcoming mappings? Check out above page to know more…
